The Department of Pharmacotherapy has a long and rich history in training high-quality pharmacy practitioners and researchers who are currently in a broad range of settings, including hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, academia, and industry. We are a dynamic department, leading the way in the application of pharmacotherapeutic principles in patient care.

The purpose of this class is to expose pre-pharmacy students to a variety of opportunities in pharmacy practice (online shadowing!) in order to provide them with the information needed to help them decide whether pharmacy is the profession to pursue. It also is intended to provide information about academic requirements and qualifications for licensure as a pharmacist in Utah.
